Pullen Has It Down To A Pair

Jacob Pullen is coming near the end of his process. The Proviso East scoring guard has a pair of schools on his short list and this could be a big week.

It's coming down the homestretch. Jacob Pullen, a 6-foot combination guard out of famed Proviso East in Chi-Town has trimmed his list to a pair of schools. Kansas State presently holds a margin over Dayton with the Flyers taking one more turn at him this week.

On Wednesday, Brian Gregory and his staff will make their final presentation during their in-home visit. As it stands now, they have ground to make up on K-State.

Pullen citing the up and coming status K-State holds as his reason for naming them the leader. "Right now Bob Huggins is building a real good program especially with Beasley coming in and maybe Bill Walker too. They might get DeJuan Blair and I might do that."

We asked Pullen if Dayton could narrow the gap. "I'm not really sure. At first I was leaning towards them but I felt Kansas State was in a better conference and it might be better for me to get exposure with Bob Huggins and the exposure he's getting."

At this point, Pullen does not have an official visit set up with Dayton but has a visit scheduled to Kansas State for Oct. 13.
