Richardson Taking Visits

Brandon Richardson, a 6-0 senior combo guard from Hawthorne High, took his first official visit this week. Several schools are in the mix for Richardson, with the Big West, Mountain West and WCC all represented...

Brandon Richardson, 6-0 SR PG/SG Hawthorne (Calif.) High, is an interestng prospect. In a class that has very few quality point guards, Richardson is intriguing as a potential point guard.

However, he's not really a true one and his ability to play the position remains to be seen. Richardson does have a nice feel for the game and he's an accurate shooter with three point range. He needs to improve his ability to create for others, but he plays unselfishly and we think he'll eventually make the transition.

We received an update recently from Richardson's high school coach.

Richardson currently has offers from Cal State Northridge and Cal State Fullerton. Utah came in for a home visit on the 19th and Richardson took an official visit to Fullerton on the 20th.

Pepperdine, Pacific, Idaho and Portland St have also expressed interest in Richardson.
