Minnesota Guard To The Big Ten

Howard Pulley Panthers point guard Kammron Taylor ended his recruitment last week. Earlier this week, he announced his collegiate intentions.

Badgers Land Point Guard

Minneapolis North point guard Kammron Taylor is headed to the Big Ten. He committed to Wisconsin.

"They have been my leader since the beginning of the summertime," Taylor said. "I wanted to get it over with so I didn't have to deal with it during the school year."

Taylor said that he considered DePaul, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Houston, Nebraska and Minnesota. "I called them last Friday and told them," Taylor said of the Badgers' commitment. "Actually, my parents went out of town and I wanted to wait until they got back to let everyone else know."

Taylor ran the point for the Pulley Panthers all summer long and his role should be similar at Wisconsin. "I think my role is going to be to come in and help the team to run the show. I plan on playing as a freshman."
