Adams Eyeballing Three Schools

Martavius Adams, a Top 100 prospect, says he'd like to make his decision next month. So far, the big center has been on one campus but is entertaining the idea of exploring two more.

Martavius Adams, a 6-foot-8 center out of Irwinton (Ga.) Wilkinson County, is presently eyeballing a trio of schools. He can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"I'll make the decision by the end of next month," Adams told Wednesday night.

The interested parties are: Oklahoma State, LSU and Cincinnati. So far only the Cowboys have hosted for an official visit. Adams, who doesn't want to decide right now, said if he had to he could, but again, it wouldn't be ideal.

"I'd be able to do it but I want to take a visit before I make my decision," Adams said. "Based on facts it would be Oklahoma State."

"They put people in the league, in the NBA."

Cincinnati and LSU want nothing more than to state their case. The Bearcats are going to get their chance the weekend of Oct. 7th when he visits them officially. LSU had a visit date in September but that didn't go down and while Adams doesn't have a trip set up, he'd like to get that in order.

The summer was an interesting one for Adams. He began the spring committed to Georgia but opened up the process. He played well enough to remain in the Top 100 and now he's got a trio of strong high-major programs dueling for his signature.

"I had a good summer," Adams said. "I played good and I surprised a lot of people."
