Will Marsaw, Randolph's uncle who has maintained low-profile presence during the recruitment, indicated the situation has not come a final conclusion.
"He has not committed to LSU," Marsaw told Scout.com. "We're all just trying to get this thing figured out."
Randolph has been busy as of late. He trimmed Georgetown from his list and cancelled an official visit to Kansas for Midnight Madness. Marsaw indicated that before anything went final, Randolph's parents who live in Arkansas and his high school coach would be consulted.
"We're going to have some serious discussion. We've taken a ton of notes, talked to coaches and we're evaluating the schools. We're going to go over the stuff."
Where does it stand now? We believe that LSU is the behind the scenes leader. We understand that Texas could visit Randolph in the very near future, maybe even as early as Wednesday.
From the sounds of it, this recruitment is on the verge of coming to a close and we'll report back when all parties are on the same page and ready to bring any news to the public.
