Houston Guard Sets Up Visits

The Houston Select AAU team is loaded with talent. With guys like Jawann McClellan, Cartier Martin and Blake Adams, one can get lost in the shuffle. However, plenty of schools recognize the talents of Marcus Hall.

Visits Being Set Up

Marcus Hall, a point from Houston's Jersey Village High, has a top five. Hall is looking at Colorado, Nebraska, SMU, Tulsa and UCLA. He says that each program has offered with the exception of the Bruins.

"I would like to play in the Pac-10 but just because it's a Pac-10 school doesn't mean I am going there. Maybe [UCLA] is looking at me, maybe they're not." Hall said that he has missed a few calls from Steve Lavin, however we know that UCLA's clear No. 1 point guard target is Aaron Brooks.

Regardless, Hall has a nice list of schools. In fact, he's about to start taking some visits. He'll visit Colorado the weekend of Sept. 13. and prior to that he'll be at SMU the weekend of Sept. 6.

After a fine run at the AAU Nationals, Hall exudes confidence. "I feel that I can play with anybody right now. I know that I have to get stronger."
