Down Goes B.J. Frazier

B.J. Frazier is off the board. The 6-foot-7 Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson forward is headed to a Sun Belt power.

B.J. Frazier, a standout from Stephenson High School who ran with the World Wide Renegades, is headed to Western Kentucky to play for Darrin Horn.

"He's getting it done," Desmond Eastmond, head coach of the Renegades said. "Coach Horn has been down here a lot ever since they could come out. He worked for it."

Eastmond said Providence, Marshall and lately, Illinois, began keeping tabs on Frazier.

"He's going to play major minutes for Horn. He's a high-major kid, but he's still 16. Out of the kids on our team he's got some of the most potential because he could do everything on the floor.

"He just didn't hone in on his skill level but at 6-foot-7 he's athletic, can handle and dish it. He's just got to learn to go hard every play. That's where Coach Horn has to come in and raise his intensity level."

Frazier was one of the key frontcourt targets the Hilltoppers targeted this past summer.
