"I just felt like I was at home there – the coaching staff, the players, the school," Barnes said. "Really it was everything."
Last season, Barnes was a 20 point, 10-rebound producer.
The Bulldogs did a really nice job with Barnes because in a sense they had to play catchup to their SEC rival. "I think after my visit (Georgia) led," Barnes said. "Before it was Kentucky but after that visit to Georgia they led."
The Nike All-American Camp veteran was sold on Dennis Felton's team and the opportunity he'll have to play early. "They want me to come in and play the four spot; probably start and create an impact."
