Post Summer Rankings: 2003 PGs

We begin our updated post summer rankings with the 2003 point guards. Ayinde Ubaka, Tron Smith and Aaron Brooks are among the top players at the position...

Ayinde Ubaka holds on to the top spot among point guards after a very impressive last two weeks in July. He has the best combination of size, quickness, feel and skills in the class. Tron Smith is the best shooter among the top point guards. His size and athleticism will allow him to play off the ball as well and that versatility is one reason we put him in the second slot. Aaron Brooks is a terrific creator and his shot has improved in the last year as well. Derek Raivio burst on the national scene in the spring and he continued to play very well throughout the summer. John Winston has great size, surprising quicks and he's among the best passers in the class. If he develops a consistent jumper, he has the potential to move even higher on this list.
