"I don't want to go to a place where I won't play," Nelson said. "I want to play and get better as an individual. Our team is a run and gun team. We trap the whole game so I like running and I'm trying to fit that style of play with whatever school recruits me."
So far this year that run-n-gun style hasn't produced a ton of wins for Nelson. "We're struggling a little bit, losing close games by a small margin. Hopefully we can make another run to the state championship."
Despite the record, Nelson has his share of attention. The 5-foot-11 point guard has offers from Central Florida, Loyola-Chicago and Jackson State.
