Latest Update On Corbin Moore

Corbin Moore, a talented big man from Southern California, has grown a bit since the summer and he's now 6-10. Multiple schools are expressing interest in the young post prospect, including schools in the Big 12, Pac-10, Mountain West and Ivy League...

Corbin Moore, 6-10 JR C Los Alamitos (Calif.) High, is a skilled post with a nice touch around the basket. Moore has a very good frame and he should fill out well by the time he reaches college. We spoke with Moore recently and he gave us an update on his recruitment.

"I've been hearing from Iowa State, Stanford, New Mexico, Washington State, Penn, Cal and Colorado State," said Moore. "Those have been the main ones."

We asked Moore if he has a leader.

"Not really," said Moore. "I'm really interested in Stanford because it's a top school, but I'm open to everyone."

We asked Moore what he is looking for in a school.

"Mainly, how the program is doing and how the coach has affected the program," said Moore. "I'm not real particular in terms of location."

Moore has yet to take any real visits to schools, but did stop by a couple schools last summer.

"We went on a vacation to Northern California last summer, so we stopped by Stanford and Cal," said Moore. "But that was just to walk around and look at the campus."

When questioned about schools that he'd like to visit, Moore replied, "I'd like to go back to both Cal and Stanford, since they're both great schools. I also was supposed to visit Arizona State last summer, but I couldn't go because of a tournament. So I'd like to go there."

We asked Moore which schools have been in contact the most with him to date.

"Iowa State and Washington State," said Moore.
