Will Brew, 6-3 JR SG St. Mary's (Calif.) Berkeley, is an athletic slasher and an intriuging prospect. We spoke with him recently and he told us about the schools that have been in contact with him to date.

"Arizona State, Washington, Oregon State, Washington State, Gonzaga, UC Davis, Pepperdine, Texas Tech and San Francisco," said Brew.

When we asked if any school leads for him at this time, Brew replied, "Arizona State, Washington and Pepperdine are my three favorites right now."

Brew has taken unofficial visits to Arizona State, Oregon State and UC Davis.

"I really liked Arizona State," said Brew. "I liked the campus and I got along real well with the players. I liked Oregon State also. I really liked the facilities there -- it was pretty cool."

Brew talked a little about what he is looking for in a school.

"I don't like the cold, but if it was the right place I could go somewhere that was cold," said Brew. "I might major in business. Early playing time isn't really a big deal -- it's ok if I don't play right away."

Brew has a timeframe for when he'd like to make his decision.

"I'll probably decide during the summer, if I feel I've got the right school," said Brew. Brew told us he has a 3.1 GPA.
