2008 Introduction: Quintin Dailey

Quintin Dailey, a 6-3 junior shootin guard from Las Vegas, has been hearing from programs in the Big 10, WCC and Pac-10, among others. He says two schools are currently at the top of his early list....

Quintin Dailey, 6-3 JR SG Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, is a long and lean slasher with some upside. His shot still needs work, but he's an intriguing prospect. We spoke with him recently and he gave us his early list.

"Michigan, Pepperdine, Oregon, Oregon State, Iowa, Iowa State and Gonzaga are the ones I've been hearing from," said Dailey.

We asked Dailey if he has a leader.

"Michigan and Gonzaga are my two favorites right now," said Dailey.

Dailey said he took an unofficial visit to Michigan at the start of the school year.

"I like their style of play," said Dailey. "The coaches are nice and I fit in well with the players there."

We asked Daily what he likes about Gonzaga.

"It's on the West Coast and it seems to be a good program," said Dailey.

Daily said a few people have been out to see him at his games.

"Michigan, BYU and Coach Kruger from UNLV have been out," said Dailey.

Dailey said location won't play a big role in his decision.

"I'll go anywhere," said Dailey. "If it's a good fit and I like the coaches, then the location doesn't matter. I'd like to play as a freshman, but starting isn't a big deal."

Dailey said he hopes to make his choice sometime after the summer. He told us he has a 3.0 GPA.
