Julyan Stone, 6-5 SR SG/PG Goleta (Calif.) Dos Pueblos, is a very talented and intriguing prospect. However, Stone hurt his knee last summer and that set his recruitment back quite a bit. He's recovered now, though, and he hopes to show his talent to college coaches during the April evaluation period. We spoke with Stone recently and he told us that three schools are currently at the top of his list.

"I'm hearing a lot from Western Kentucky, Portland and Portland State," said Stone. "Western Kentucky is my favorite – I like them a lot."

Stone said he's not set for sure on attending college next year.

"If I thought prep school was the right move for me, I could see that being an option next year," said Stone. "I'll have to see how April goes."

Stone was supposed to visit Portland, but the timing didn't work out with his schedule, so that visit was put on the backburner.

Stone is hoping that April will give him a chance to show coaches that he's fully recovered.

"A lot of coaches were worried about my knee after the surgery," said Stone. "So I want to play in April and take it from there."
