"He's going to Kentucky Thursday-Saturday," Oak Hill coach Steve Smith said.
"He's got an all-star game in Michigan (this weekend) and the following weekend he plans to go to UConn."
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard turned in 19-points a game at Oak Hill this past year. He shot 42% from 3-point range, 85% from the line and made his last 40 free throws in a row. "He didn't miss a free throw since January 12," Smith said.
"Kansas is trying but he's not going to entertain anyone else," Smith said. Michigan is in the mix but he's looking at UK, UConn and KU.
"He's worked hard in the weight room. He works out probably twice a day right now. He plays, he lifts and he's kind of driven right now.
"I think Alex realizes his time is up in high school and he's going to college. Wherever he chooses he'll be there for summer school and he's wanting to play right away. He's almost 6-foot-4 right now and 210 pounds. He's excited to go to the next level and leave high school behind."
