Lobos Land Hobson

Darrington Hobson has found a new home. The talented wing player is off to New Mexico to play for Steve Alford.

Steve Alford and the New Mexico Lobos are working overtime this month to put the pieces in place for their roster.

Former N.C. high school standout Monquel Pegues, a power forward, is on the hit list and visiting campus soon. Should be elect to play for the Lobos, he'll have company.

According to RedMenace.com, Johnnie Harris out of Chipola Junior College is on the way. Harris stands 6-foot-8 and will be playing a role inside for Alford. Last week, Indiana native and former Iowa signee guard Diarese Gary followed the staff to New Mexico.

Just in, as reported by the site, is the commitment of Darrington Hobson, an extremely gifted wing player. Hobson, a 6-foot-7 wizard with the ball who bounced around to multiple high schools before finishing up at Decatur Christian, is ready to invade Albuquerque.
