Eric Lane, 6-0 SR PG Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, is a pure point who can also shoot it well beyond the stripe. He suffered an ACL injury at the end of his high school season last year and wasn't able to play this summer. However, Lane was cleared to play two weeks ago and he's back on the court wearing a knee brace. He told us he'll be able to take the brace off sometime around the middle of his high school season.

We spoke with Lane recently and he told us that he's hearing from several schools. "Nevada was here for an in-home visit yesterday (Monday)," Lane said. "Long Beach St. was in today and UC Riverside will be here tomorrow."

When asked if there were any other schools showing interest, Lane replied, "Pepperdine and San Diego St."

Lane hasn't scheduled any official visits yet. He said he'll probably sign in the spring.
