Miami, Kent State, Stanford Plan Visits
Monty St. Clair is starting to make better sense of his college options. Having already taken one official visit with another on tap for the weekend, his list is starting to come into focus.
St. Clair lists Miami-OH, Stanford, Kent State, UNC-Wilmington and Indiana are the programs he mentions. Stanford and Indiana have not formally offered as of Friday.
This weekend, St. Clair is at Kent State for his official visit to Jim Christian's program. He has a trip tentatively set for Stanford the weekend of Oct. 25. UNC-Wilmington will be in his home this Sunday and the Seahawks are likely to schedule their visit at that time.
So far, St. Clair has the Miami-OH visit as his official visit measuring stick. "Miami was fun because I had already talked to Coach Coles and the assistants a bunch of times. I was already comfortable with them so it was more fun." Toss in the fact he has a high school teammate there already and two AAU teammates on the way next season and Miami-OH has a nice connection.
Still, St. Clair says that he has no leader right now. "Right now, I'm trying to keep an open mind about it."
