2008 Introduction: Trevor Noonan

Trevor Noonan, a 6-7 junior power forward from Colorado, is a good-looking young prospect. Noonan's recruitment is just beginning to take shape, but he tells us that a WCC program is among his top few schools...

Trevor Noonan, 6-7 JR PF Broomfield (Col.) Legacy, hasn't received much exposure to date, but he's a very intriguing prospect. He's got a good stroke, with deep range, and he's a good passer. Noonan moves well for his size and he gets up very well.

We spoke with Noonan recently and asked about the schools on his list.

"I've been hearing from Santa Clara, Pepperdine, Montana State, Denver and Northern Colorado," said Noonan.

We asked Noonan if he has any favorites.

"They're all pretty much in a group," said Noonan. "Santa Clara is definitely one of my top few, but I haven't really looked in depth yet."

Noonan talked a little about what he is looking for in a school.

"The school part is obviously important," said Noonan. "Also, the coaching staff is big. The location is not a huge deal. I'd like to stay close to home, but there aren't a lot of schools in Colorado."

Noonan said he's in no hurry to reach a decision.

"I definitely want to play through July," said Noonan. "I don't really have a firm timeframe, but I'll play in the all events in July and then see what happens."

Noonan told us he has a 3.7 GPA and he scored a 23 on the ACT.
