2008 Introduction: Michael Bostic

Michael Bostic is a player that didn't receive much exposure prior to this past April. But he played very well during the evaluation period and coaches are intrigued by his athleticism and upside.....

Michael Bostic, 6-7 JR PF Ontario (Calif.) Colony, was one of the more pleasant surprises of the April evaluation period. Bostic is young for his class and he hasn't received much exposure to date. But he's a terrific athlete – very bouncy – and he's got a considerable upside.

We spoke with Bostic recently and asked about the programs he's been hearing from lately.

"Boston College, Clemson, USC, Utah, Ohio State, St. Mary's, Oregon, Iowa, Arizona and Arizona State," said Bostic. "St. Mary's and Oregon have offered."

We asked Bostic what he is looking for in a program.

"Someplace where the play team ball, where they push the ball and play up tempo," said Bostic. "Early playing time would be an issue."

Bostic has yet to take any visits, but he has a few things coming up.

"I'm going to St. Mary's at the end of the month," said Bostic. "Then I'm going to UNLV in June for the their team camp."

Bostic isn't looking to choose a school anytime soon.

"I'll probably decide after the summer," said Bostic.

Bostic told us he has a 2.9 GPA.
