Theodore Makes His Move

Another class of 2008 point guard is off the table, as Jordan Theodore made a commitment to a Big East school today.

Jordan Theodore took an unofficial visit to Seton Hall for the second consecutive week, but this time he returned home a Pirate.

"[Bobby Gonzalez] was asking me some questions and stuff and I was like ‘congratulations coach you got a point guard.' He was psyched and happy I could tell by his face."

Theodore also considered Marquette, Memphis and Maryland, but according to the Paterson (N.J.) Catholic standout he always knew Seton Hall was the place he wanted to be.

"When I first started my recruiting process I always liked Seton Hall the best and I said I wanted to go to Seton Hall, but I wanted to wait. It turns out I ended up committing and going there anyways."

"They did a good job recruiting me and I just felt comfortable going to Seton Hall."

Last week Theodore turned out a good showing at the USA Basketball Men's Youth Development Festival. The 6-foot-1 point guard got after it on defense and also averaged 6 points and 3.2 assists per game.

Theodore is the Pirates first commitment for the class of 2008.
