Miller Makes Early Decision

The early commitments continue as K.C. Miller, a member of the 2010 class, ended his recruitment during an unofficial visit to an SEC power.

Billy Gillispie has done it again. Since being announced Kentucky's coach in early April, he has picked up a pair 2007 recruits, and has gained verbal commitments from the class of 2008, 2009 and 2010.

His most recent commitment came today when K.C. Miller decided to end his recruitment and commit to the Wildcats.

"I went down there and I loved it," Miller said. "I don't think there's any school better than that so I couldn't pass up the opportunity."

The 6-foot-1 sophomore took an unofficial visit to Kentucky this past weekend. While on campus Miller played pick up ball with the team, toured the campus and got a chance to sit down with coach Gillispie.

"He had already offered me. He offered me at A&M and when he left he offered me again at Kentucky. He asked me if I was ready to commit and I said ‘yes.'"

"I think I'll fit in pretty good. I'll probably be playing with a lot of players that I've already been playing with, so I'll probably have a good feel for how they play and everything."

Miller, who picked the Cats over Texas, Indiana and Oklahoma, is the third underclassmen and second member of the 2010 class to pick the Wildcats since Gillispie's hire.
