Bost Headed To SEC

Dee Bost is headed to the SEC. The MVP of both the basketball and football championships in the state of North Carolina, reached a decision Wednesday night.

Mississippi State landed an important recruit Wednesday night. As the 2007 point guard pools dwindles, guys like Dee Bost are hard to come by. The 6-foot-1 lead guard out of Hargrave Military Academy by way of Concord (N.C.) High committed to the program over Cincinnati, Miami, Florida State and Clemson.

"They were at every game and they were on top of everything," Bost said. "During the live period they were at every game."

Bost, a post-graduate student, was a member of's Class of 2007 Final Top 100. He's an interesting recruit because not only is he a great finisher with lots of speed he's a winner. Bost was the MVP in the 4-A state championship game for both football and basketball. Winning is what he does and with MSU's current class, it should continue.

"They're going to be Top 20 this year," Bost said. "With Scotty Hopson and Romero Osby they'll be even better. They want me to play full time point guard in the future."
