Arizona State Lands Low
Quietly, the Arizona State is putting together a very nice recruiting class. With Tron Smith and Keith Wooden already in the fold, the Sun Devils added another piece on Tuesday.
Chris Low made his pick on Tuesday night, giving Rob Evans and the Sun Devils their third pledge of the season.
"For me they had all around and everything I wanted," Low said. "As far as my minutes and being on the court there was an opportunity there. It was familiar as far as teammates. It's sunshine all year round."
Clearly, Low was attracted by the prospects of building with some young talent. "I think it looks real good. I wouldn't have taken it if they were on the bottom of the Pac-10. The point guard out there is an all-conference player and Ike's [Diogu] going to be a great freshman."
So, in the end, it was Arizona State winning another pretty good recruiting battle. "I think it had gotten down to SMU, TCU, Indiana and Arizona State. For me, it was really Arizona State and TCU in the end."
"It's like a weight lifted off my shoulders."
