Clemson, Texas Schedule Trips
Enloe forward Anthony Tucker was late for a workout on Wednesday night. Not real, late just five minutes or so. But no one complained and for good reason.
"I was running late because I was studying," Tucker said. That's the only excuse anyone in the building wanted to hear. Tucker, who continues to progress toward qualifying, said that he's set up a pair of official visits.
Currently, his first official visit is with Clemson and that's set for Oct. 19. Clemson assistant coach Bobby Hussey was in the building watching Tucker and an assortment of juniors on Wednesday evening.
Texas assistant Frank Haith visited with Tucker the week before and the Longhorns who like to dabble in the state of North Carolina since Rick Barnes and Haith are natives and new assistant Rodney Terry spent a few years at Wilmington, will host Tucker Oct. 26.
In pickup games Wednesday evening, Tucker showed just a glimpse of his game. He's obviously still working on his conditioning which was affected after experiencing a minor problem with his knee toward the end of the summer at the AAU National Championship in Orlando.
