Henry Down To Five

After a solid spring and summer Terrance Henry has settled on five schools. The Monroe (La.) Carroll standout is now ready to start taking visits.

Like a majority of the 2008 prospects, Terrance Henry dove into the recruiting process following the July open period. The 6-foot-9, 185-pound power forward narrowed his list.

His new list consists of Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky and Miami. Henry, who claims scholarship offers from all five remaining schools, said decision time isn't too far away.

"It's really just getting down to the decision now," Henry said. "It's getting closer and closer to graduation and me getting ready to go to college so I'm going to have to make a choice sometime."

With his list cut, Henry is now in the visit stage. Thus far he has visits penciled in to Arkansas on September 29th and to Kansas on October 12th. Henry also has visits scheduled for Miami and Mississippi, but doesn't know the exact dates.

Kentucky, who is the most recent school to get involved, will also get a visit, according to Henry. He plans to sit down with his high school coach in the near future to schedule a date with the Wildcats.

Henry talked about all five schools on his list and gave a quick synopsis on why he likes each school:

Kansas: "I like that every player that plays the same position I play goes to the NBA."

Arkansas: "I like their coaching staff and their style of play."

Mississippi: "They are losing all of their front line, and I like their coaching staff too."

Miami: "They are going to lose their whole front line, and I like their coaching staff too."

Kentucky: "It's just Kentucky. I like Kentucky. When coach got the new job they just started back recruiting me."

Henry came in at No. 60 in the latest Scout.com rankings.
