"Missouri was my top school and I was thinking about going there," Denmon said. "Right now I'm not sure because I don't know if they're sure. I'm waiting it out to see how it plays out."
Waiting to see how things shake out with Denmon is Kansas State, Oklahoma, Iowa State and Colorado. All but the Sooners have offered him a ride and Florida State is calling more. Mid-level programs once held out hope of landing him but that's nothing more than wishful thinking after a strong spring and summer. Denmon's a full-blown higher level prospect.
"I thought he had a tremendous summer," KC Pump ‘n Run coach L.J. Goolsby said. "He really showed people what kind of scorer he could be at the next level against good competition. Plus, he's a good defender on the ball with his instincts."
Denmon doesn't have any official visits on tap and can't stress enough that he's open to looking at anyone. "I'm really wide open right now," Denmon said. "I was looking to make my decision sometime soon, way before basketball season.
"I agreed to go to visit MU. I've been there before and I'll take an official visit there. I'm not sure anywhere else and I haven't set up any."
