Morgan's List Rounding Out

The race to land J'mison Morgan will span three major conferences. Morgan is working on getting his official visit slate in order.

The recruiting picture for J'mison Morgan is beginning to clear up.'s No. 29 prospect has himself a list of five big time schools. Morgan will definitely visit LSU and Alabama, he's been to Kansas and UCLA and Kentucky are on the final five.

The 6-foot-9 Dallas (Tex.) South Oak Cliff center told that he's on the cusp of piecing together the visit dates. The decision, Morgan said, hinges on some key variables. "It's probably the relationship with the coaching staff and the teammates and the living environment where we live."

Morgan, whose high school teammate Darrell Arthur is a sophomore at Kansas, been to be Lawrence and enjoyed the experience.

He's been a steady riser over the course of the spring and summer. His game yields flashes of post player with a bigger offensive game than he's been awarded credit for. Plus, he's committed himself to losing weight and its opening up other facets of his repertoire.

"I had an improved summer," Morgan said. "I thought it was very good."
