The shooting guards in the West Coast class of 2009 are a fairly
talented bunch with the potential to get better. There are a few high
major guys at the top of the list, but several other players have the
upside to eventually reach that level. Snaer is the top-ranked shooting guard due his combination of size, athleticism, skill level and feel for the game. Snaer also has a very good approach to the game. He  doesn't force shots and he's a solid defender. Bradley gets the nod for the number two ranking, but it's very close. Bradley is an athletic slasher and more of a scorer than pure shooter. He's an excellent defender. His quickness laterally, and his intensity at the defensive end, are very impressive. Marshall is right behind Bradley and he could eventually overtake him. Marshall is another player with a great approach to the game. He's got a decent shot at this time. If he shows improvement in that area of his game, he could very well move up this list. Haws has no problem shooting the ball. He's got an excellent stroke with three-point range. Creating his own offense is an area of his game that he needs to develop. Nelson is an energy guy who rebounds well for his size and he too will defend. He needs to work on his shot selection and improve as a three-point shooter.
