Baylor To Be Taken By Storm

Storm Warren said he got tired and worn down in July. He shouldn't feel bad so did everyone else! The power forward is a day away from cranking up the next part of the recruiting process and he's well rested!

Thursday's a big day for power forward Storm Warren. The 6-foot-7 ½ product of Monroe (La.) Richwood, is about to embark on his first official visit.

"As a matter of fact, I go on a visit to Baylor tomorrow," Warren informed Scout.com Wednesday night. The Bears, who make a living in the Texas/Louisiana region, have stiff competition to land the energetic big man.

Warren will visit Florida the weekend of Sept. 15 and then LSU the following weekend. He enters the visitation process with an open mind. "I can't really say (who is recruiting me the hardest); it's neck and neck. I already know what I'm looking for. I have my goals set. I want a degree."

Locally, Louisiana-Monroe and the Bulldogs are working him. "I was talking to Louisiana Tech the other day to see how things would go," Warren said. "Yesterday I was at ULM talking to Coach Early. We had a quick sit down."

So, how does one impress the hard working insider? "I'm a real person and I want people to be real with me. I'll just go with the feel."
