We spoke with Tyler Tiedeman, 6-5 SR SG Santa Rosa (Calif.) Montgomery, recently and learned that he's considering two schools at the moment -- St. Mary's and UC Riverside.
However, that could change if any big-time baseball schools get involved. Tiedeman is also a highly regarded pitcher and he's considering his baseball options as well. "I want to play both," Tiedeman said. "But if a really good baseball school offers me for just baseball, then I'll have to think about it."
Tiedeman took a visit to St. Mary's a couple weeks ago and came away very impressed. "It wasn't what I was expecting. I really enjoyed myself. They have some good guys and the talent there is really good."
Tiedeman will visit UC Riverside next weekend. He said both schools would like him to sign in the fall, but he may wait. "I'm not sure about signing in the fall," said Tiedeman.
