Stat stuffing wing Max Kenyi of Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga is ready to make a trio of official visits. According to Steve Turner, Gonzaga's head coach, he'll trip to Holy Cross Sept. 8, Penn the 15th and then follow it up with a visit to Harvard on the 22nd.
"Academics are very important to him," Turner said. "It's something his mom stresses all the time. It's not a surprise he has so many academic schools involved with him. He's got high-major athleticism and he's got the world at his hands because of how strong he is in the classroom."
Turner said that plenty of schools liked his senior. Vanderbilt had been staying in touch but Kenyi was ready to roll with visits. Turner called his 11 point a game scorer a "poker player" as he had yet to tip his hand to the coach.
"He's so quick with his first step. If you play off him he'll squeeze the 3. He's worked on his mid-range game and he can get by you and hit you with the two-dribble pull-up. Plus, he's a lockdown defender. He's a stat stuffer."
