Marquette, DePaul, USF Involved
Earlier in the week, Wesley Green was ready to make a decision. In fact, he did reach a conclusion and further committed to Florida State. However, Green and the Seminoles weren't able to get on the same page in the end.
Very shortly after Green committed to the Seminoles, his pledge was rescinded. The next day, FSU grabbed juco power forward Diego Romero.
As it stands now, Florida State is most definitely out of the picture as far as Green is concerned. Last week, Tennessee was on his list but once they took Major Wingate all of the Vols scholarships were gone.
Recently, he visited Indiana and Green says he's still definitely considering the Hoosiers. "It's a basketball school and it was a great visit," he said. "They still want me."
Looking at the middle of the month, Green has another trip – his fourth – scheduled. Tom Crean and Marquette plays host on the 18th. "I'm highly interested in them. They did a first class job recruiting me."
DePaul could be another possibility. "Coach [Leitao] was recruiting me when he was at Connecticut. When he got the head coaching job he kept on recruiting me. They came to see me last Tuesday."
And then there's South Florida, a school that has always been on his list. "They're really in there. I'm not sure if I'll visit there because it's right next door. I like South Florida and they've been recruiting me since I was a freshman in high school. I just don't know if I could be that close to home."
