Sean Kilpatrick, a veteran of the inaugural Reebok U Camp, has a host of programs showing interest. The 6-foot-5 White Plains (N.Y.) High guard can play. However, he's in need of scholarship offers.
"I'm waiting to see how serious people are," Kilpatrick told Scout.com. St. John's, Clemson, Miami, Providence, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Marist, Fordham, Siena, Iona and Louisville are in contact. Two are on him harder than others: "I would say St. John's and Miami."
While the Red Storm and Hurricanes are recruiting him, they haven't offered and that's the situation Kilpatrick is in. Basically he's flying in a holding pattern waiting to see which programs will eventually need his services. His desire, like most of his peers, is to play at the highest level.
"Whoever really bites first; I don't have a timetable," Kilpatrick said of his decision. He left open the possibility of visiting programs during the season if need be." Unless someone jumps on him and makes him a priority he very well may be a spring signee.
