Miller Woke Up Ready To Commit

Darius Miller's recruiting process was somewhat of a mystery, as it was often tough to figure out which school led. On Friday morning he woke up ready to commit.

It just felt right for Darius Miller. The 6-foot-5 wing woke up this morning ready to commit to Billy Gillispie and his Kentucky Wildcats.

"He just woke up and said it was time," Darius' dad Brian Miller said. "He said he was just ready to commit. It came down between Kentucky and Louisville."

Since Gillispie made it to the Commonwealth he made Miller a priority. Not only did the first year coach get Miller to campus a handful of times , but he also showed up to every game Miller played in, during the month of July.

"He came pretty hard," the elder Miller said. "He did his homework and he was a very aggressive recruiter."

This past week Kentucky hired Tracy Webster away from Illinois. Webster was the point man on Miller during his time at Illinois and his relationship with Miller was clearly strong, as it didn't take long for Miller to pop once he arrived.

Miller will join Top 20 prospect DeAndre Liggins to make up Kentucky's 2008 class.
