Garrett Sim, 6-1 SR PG Portland (Ore.) Sunset, is one of the top uncommitted guards in the west for 2008.
I spoke with Sim recently and he said there are a number of schools involved in his recruitment.
"I'm hearing from San Diego State, San Diego, Fresno State, Cal, Oregon State, Oregon, Portland and Boise State," said Sim.
Sim has several in-home visits coming up this week.
"Oregon State is coming in to watch me play on Monday," said Sim. "Then Cal comes for an in-home on Tuesday, San Diego State comes in Wednesday and Fresno State is in on Friday."
Sim will be taking a couple of official visits later this month.
"I'm going to San Diego State on September 22nd," said Sim. "And I'm probably going to Cal on September 29th. I'll probably set up a few more visits as well."
Sim said he's still wide open.
"I don't really have a leader," said Sim. "I'm still hoping to sign during the November signing period."
