Teondre Williams still has a major part of the recruiting process left. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound wing has to decide which schools he wants to visit and make his trips, before he comes up with a college decision.
"In the next week or two I want to sit down and schedule my official visits because I want to make my decision before my high school season starts," Williams said.
The Norcross (Ga.) Meadowcreek standout is getting consistent interest from Oklahoma, Alabama, Cincinnati, UNC Charlotte and Florida State. Of the schools showing interest he's starting to figure out who he wants to visit.
"I want to visit Oklahoma, Alabama and probably Cincinnati," Williams, who averaged 19 points a game last season, said.
Williams is getting specific about what he wants in a college program. Playing time and academics are two aspects that will definitely factor into the equation.
"There are basically two things that I'm looking for," he said. "The first is the opportunity to make an impact my freshmen year. Also their graduation rate and if they have my major is important."
A decision from Williams, who is a three-star prospect on Scout.com, could come relatively soon, as he's planning to get it out of the way before the season starts.
