Curry, McMasters Decide

Ritchie McKay and the Liberty Flames have amassed a handful of commitments from the Class of 2007. Recently, the Flames added a guard and big that should assist in laying the foundation for future wins.

Seth Curry, a 6-foot shooting guard out of Charlotte (N.C.) Christian, came on board. "It's a great fit for him," Dell Curry, Seth's father said. "We went up for the visit and we had no idea. The facilities were great and it was very nice.

"Liberty really offered him a chance to get in right away. They were on him the hardest and he wanted to go somewhere that really wanted him."

Curry is the son of one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in the history of the NBA. His brother was a freshman all-american player at Davidson last year.

McKay also dipped into Tennessee where he scored Grace Academy power forward Carter McMasters. The 6-foot-10 McMasters, a perimeter oriented player, averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds as a junior.
