Jennings Re-Opens His Recruitment

Terrence Jennings has decided to re-open his recruitment. The talented big man still plans to take a visit to Maryland, but is planning to take a few more official visits.

One of the better post prospects in the 2008 class is back on the market. Terrence Jennings, of Durham (N.C.) Mt. Zion, backed out of his commitment to Maryland this week.

"I'm going to reopen my commitment," Jenning said. "I'm just not sure, so I'm going to reopen my commitment and take some visits. I just decided to repeat the whole situation and I'm going to reopen it right now."

"It's kind of gotten out, but right now I'm just not sure. In the next couple of weeks I'm going to take some visits, but I'm not sure which schools yet because I haven't set it up yet. But right now at the moment my recruitment has been reopened."

The 6-foot-10, 230-pound big man, who originally committed to Maryland in early August, opted not to name a new list of schools. He is, however, planning to set up some visits in the near future.

"I'm in the process of figuring it out right now. I'm really not sure but I do have a couple of schools like West Virginia and I'm still going to go to Maryland for my official visit on October 6th."

Despite de-committing from the Terrapins, Jennings still thinks highly of Gary Williams squad.

"They are still my number one school, but I just decided to reopen my recruitment," Jennings said. "I'm still going to take a visit to Maryland and all the other schools are undecided."

Jennings, who is ranked No. 3 on Scout.com's post grad list, is a big time athlete that blocks shots, can run the floor and score on the block.
