Interest Picks Up For Creek

Maurice Creek, who is a member of's Top 75, is getting strong interest from schools across the country. He recently updated on his recruitment.

Playing with Triple Threat helped Maurice Creek pick up a little extra attention from college coaches. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound had just one scholarship heading into July, now he has nearly a half dozen.

"[Recruiting] got a lot better," Creek said. "The schools that I wanted to recruit me more are starting to come out."

The schools showing the most interest are Marquette, South Carolina, Pittsburgh, Texas, Maryland, Georgetown, Michigan and Miami.

"I like all of the schools that I just named," Creek, who claims offers from Marquette, Maryland, Texas, Pittsburgh and Miami, said. "There are different parts that I like about each school. I like all of the schools because they are all different."

Although Creek hasn't taken any unofficial visits yet, he does plan to in the coming months. However, he's nowhere close to announcing his college decision, as Creek wants to take official visits this time next year.

"I'm just going to enjoy my recruiting process and whoever is hitting me the hardest and recruits me is the one that's going to get picked."

Creek checked in at No. 45 in's post July rankings.
