Darius Morrow changed his mind Monday evening. Upon returning from an SEC program this past weekend he was planning to take a few more visits, but last night he decided to go ahead and make a commitment.
When Darrius Morrow returned from South Carolina
this past weekend, his initial reaction was to wait out the process and visit a few more schools. But on Monday he changed his mind and decided to make a commitment.
"There reason I choose South Carolina is because of Coach Odom," Morrow said. He's coached a bunch of big guys. Secondly was probably conference and the third and most important was because of the location."
Morrow had a visit scheduled for Cincinnati on October 12th and was contemplating visits to Penn State and East Carolina, but he just got the feeling that it was time to end his recruitment.
"I kind of had my mind set, but when I woke up the [Monday] morning I was sure I wanted to be a Gamecock. I was sure that I wanted to play for Coach Odom and I get a long with the players so well."
Morrow, who is a standout at Decatur (Ga.) Columbia, is the Gamecocks only commitment in the 2008 class.
