Midnight With Matt Checklist

The North Carolina Tar Heels are scheduled to have an important recruit on campus for "Midnight with Matt" this Friday night. In total, they are tentatively scheduled to have at least four prospects on campus.

Four Tentatively Scheduled For Visits

Opening night when the curtain finally goes up is always a good time to have prospects, especially underclassmen, on campus. This Friday night, North Carolina will open its doors at Carmichael Auditorium for "Midnight with Matt" and they'll have visitors.

Sources have told TheInsidersHoops.com that four prospects are tentatively set to make unofficial visits, highlighted by one of the Tar Heels elite level targets in the Class of 2004.

Brian Johnson, fresh off a fine performance with the DC Stars at the Charlie Weber, will make the trip to Chapel Hill. Johnson, as far as we can tell, has an offer from UNC. Maryland, Duke, Florida and UCLA have been some schools also linked to him.

Joining Johnson from the junior class will be power forward Mohammed Tangara. His trip to Chapel Hill will be a short one as Tangara currently plays at Mount Zion. He played last summer with Linzy Davis' Team Georgia Elite.

Greensboro Dudley should have a nice team next season as well. William Graves and Kevin Swinton have yet to play a game for Coach David Price, but they too have been invited to Chapel Hill for the festivities. Graves is a 6-5 freshman forward while Swinton is a 6-7 sophomore.
