"I have these five - Tennessee, Georgetown, Marquette, USC and Illinois," Woolridge said. "I've done all of my in-home visits and I'm getting ready to head on some away visits. I'm going to Tennessee [on Thursday] and then Georgetown next week."
Two weeks ago the North Hollywood (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake standout took a visit to the only in-state school on his list. Woolridge gave the visit to Southern California high marks.
"I liked it a lot," Woolridge said. "The players are great, the coaches are great and their fan base is good. Growing up in L.A. for most of my life I kind of had a feel already for what it was going to be like. I really liked it."
With the Trojans being the only school relatively close to home on his list, will distance play a factor in his decision?
"I think initially it did because I grew up here," Woolridge said. "However now that I've gotten it down to five, I've had a lot more time to research all these schools. I think everything has leveled out because I'm focusing on playing styles and coaching styles."
"I think the only thing that is left is for me to actually to go and see these schools and see what the feeling is like when I'm there."
The 6-foot-8, 205-pound combo forward was planning to take visits to each school on his list, but that might not be the case. He plans to take his two upcoming visits and re-evaluate the situation when he gets back.
"It's going to be a tough decision because all of these schools I really like and that's why I'm taking my time."
