Another Top 100 Commits

Top 100 recruit Mark McLaughlin is headed to the WAC. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard made his pledge Friday night.

The Nevada Wolfpack just put the Western Athletic Conference on full alert. Mark Fox and his staff scored their second Top 100 prospect of the year Friday night.

Mark McLaughlin, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Kenmore (Wash.) Inglemoor selected the Wolfpack after considering Oregon and Illinois.

"I went down there and had a really good time,"'s No. 77 prospect said. "I've been talking to the coaches and even when I had bad games they came back. It seemed like a good fit for me."

McLaughlin joins likely McDonald's All-American Luke Babbitt on the commitment list. With guys like Nick Fazekas, Kirk Snyder and possibly Marcellus Kemp making careers in the NBA, the tide has turned in Nevada's favor on the recruiting trail. Kids are looking at the successful program in a different light. Mix in the NCAA wins and Fox's Pack is moving and shaking.

"It seems like its going to be a pretty good class. They have some players who went to the NBA and it seems like they're an up and coming program and I just wanted to be a part of a good situation."
