"They were the school that I've been talking to the most anyways, and I just felt it is a school where I could play," Moss said. "I felt like Kent State is a school that I can go to and make some things happen."
Moss arrived at Kent State Thursday evening and spent a few days on the campus. He got the grand tour, went to their football game against Miami (OH) and got the chance to get to know the coaching staff.
"Friday morning I ate with the coaches and went to the football game on Saturday," the 6-foot-2, 190-pound PG said. "They just talked to me and explained what my situation would be if I went to Kent State."
"The people were very welcoming and the coaches were very active with each other and it's a good coaching staff. Coach Jim Christian is a good guy and I've been talking to him for some time now."
Moss, who picked Kent State over interest from Northern Arizona, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Murray State and Morehead State, said Kent State is looking for a guard that can score and he feels like he can fill that roll.
"I'm going to be playing the point guard position. They said they need a scoring guard and I'm going to probably be more of a scoring guard than anything."
