Little Picks Big 12 Program

Mario Little, one of the top junior college recruits in the nation, made his final decision over the weekend.

The Kansas Jayhawks now have a pair of commitments from the Class of 2008.

"Mario Little has just committed to Bill Self and the rock chalk Kansas Jayhawks," Chipola Junior College head coach Greg Heiar said.

Little, a 6-foot-5 wing out of Chicago, had Kansas State and Illinois on his final list.

"He really developed from his freshman to his sophomore year," Heiar said. "He's 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds. He's going to be a 3 for us but last year played some 4-3 for us. He can score, post up, drive it and handle it. He'll finish around the rim."

The Jayhawks also have a commitment from Top 50 high school prospect Travis Releford.
