Clark Opens Up His Recruitment

The recent trend of decommittments continued today, as Andre Clark decommitted from Oklahoma. The 6-foot-9 big man is interested in looking around a little more.

Andre Clark wasn't sure about his commitment to Oklahoma, so on Monday evening the 6-foot-9, 205-pound center decided to open up his recruitment.

"It was anything in particular that happened," Clark said. "There wasn't an incident or anything. I just wanted to open it up and make sure that I'm making a good decision and feel comfortable where I'm going."

"There wasn't a disagreement with them," he continued. "I just let them know and they were kind of upset, but they said they supported me. I just want to open it and see if I can find anything better and make sure I'm doing a good thing."

Clark, who recently transferred to Mendenhall (Miss.) Genesis One, said it was too early to give out a list of schools, as most schools still don't know that he decommitted from the Sooners.

"Not many people have found out," Clark said. "Arkansas is recruiting me pretty hard and I'm supposed to take a visit there sometime after October 15th, but I don't know the exact date. Arkansas is the only school on me right now because not many people know about it."

Prior to ending his recruitment in mid-July, Clark had interest from a variety of schools including Indiana, Colorado, Kentucky and Colorado.
