Buckeyes About To Score In 2010 Again

Few state schools protect their turf the way the Ohio State Buckeyes do. Is Thad Matta's crew on the verge of another 2010 commitment? We think so.

The Ohio State Buckeyes, under Thad Matta, have prided themselves on shutting down their borders from would-be invaders. From what we've learned they've moved on another member of the Class of 2010.

Cameron Wright, a 6-foot-4 wing out of Cleveland Benedictine will officially come on board Tuesday. Multiple sources confirmed that Wright intends to select the Buckeyes sometime Tuesday.

"Cam's going to announce it on Tuesday," Rob Stircula, the head coach of Benedictine told Scout.com. As a freshman Wright accounted for 15 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds.

"What he does well is he's so explosive and athletic," Stircula said. "He's the smartest guy I've ever coached. He gets to the rim well and his outside game has come a long way since last season. He knows the game and knows how to play. He's the same in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA."

Last year Wright visited the Michigan Wolverines under Tommy Amaker and recently was on Ohio State's campus further fueling the intense speculation of the Buckeyes as the choice.

Matta locked down Columbus native Jared Sullinger, another 2010 member, earlier in the year.
