Ryan Howley, 6-5 SR SF/SG Flagstaff (Ariz.) Sinagua, is a very interesting prospect with quite a few positive attributes. Howley has a sweet jumper to the stripe, he's bouncy and he has an excellent feel for the game. He had a very good showing this past weekend at the Arizona Preps Fall Showcase.
I spoke with Howley and asked about the schools involved in his recruitment.
"UC Davis, Lehigh, Cal State Northridge and Princeton have offered," said Howley. "I took a visit to Davis a couple weeks ago and I'll probably visit Northridge."
I asked if he has a leader at this time.
"Probably Davis if I had to decide today," said Howley.
When questioned about the timing of his decision, Howley replied, "I definitely won't sign early. I may commit, but I'm going to sign in the spring."
Howley is a very good student and he indicated that he's open to hearing from other programs.
