The Storm Isn't Over

Storm Warren, a three star prospect on, is now back on the market. The 6-foot-8 big man is planning to visit an SEC school next week.

Two months ago Storm Warren gave Baylor a verbal commitment, on Wednesday the 6-foot-8, 215-pound decided that he might have jumped the gun and has re-opened his recruitment.

"I feel like I jumped into it too early," Warren said. "I don't think I waited long enough to see what else was out there. I have a couple of other situations and I kind of want to stay closer to home."

Warren mentioned LSU and Louisiana Tech as possible destinations. He said both schools have offered scholarships and he's planning to visit the Tigers in the near future.

"I'm probably going to [visit LSU] next week sometime," Warren said.'s 30th ranked power forward likes LSU for a number of reasons, but distance is at the top of his list.

"It's closer to home for one, but it's a pretty good school also," the Monroe (La.) Richwood standout said.

Warren said Baylor is still in the mix. He plans to make a college decision soon and will sign in the November signing period.
